The two-second rule – what makes a great influencer campaign?
From launching a delicious chocolate collaboration with an iconic designer to protein supplements co-created with the All Blacks and the return of a much-loved shoe brand to New Zealand’s fashion capital, no two influencer campaigns are the same (nor should they be).
In a world where you’ve got seconds to capture someone’s attention the two-second ‘scroll window’ on Instagram and TikTok can be the difference between an okay and a great influencer campaign.
From launching a delicious chocolate collaboration with an iconic designer to protein supplements co-created with the All Blacks, and the return of a much-loved shoe brand to New Zealand’s fashion capital, no two influencer campaigns are the same (nor should they be!).
Getting to the heart of a brand, what it stands for and what it wants to say is crucial in designing an influencer campaign that resonates and delivers results.
We love making the magic happen for brands looking to get closer than ever to their customers. Here, we look at three very different but equally successful campaigns Thorn PR designed for some of NZ’s leading brands.
Raspberry lamingtons are a cult favourite amongst Kiwis, and now, they’ve been given the designer touch as Karen Walker and Wellington Chocolate Factory deconstruct the iconic sweet treat and turn it into a chocolate bar. We’ve been working with the award-winning chocolate makers since 2019, and this is their fourth collaboration with the iconic NZ fashion designer.
A strictly limited release, we hand-selected some of New Zealand’s most sought-after foodies and lifestyle influencers to sample this delicious bar before it hit shelves. It’s safe to say this exquisite bar went down a treat.
Shoe Connection is a much-loved fashion brand that recently re-launched its brand new look and store in the heart of Lambton Quay, the epicentre of Wellington’s fashion district.
We LOVE shoes and knew the influencers we work with would love the new look Shoe Connection too. Our team designed and hosted an after-hours VIP shopping event to introduce Shoe Connection’s spring & summer range to Wellington, and invited selected lifestyle influencers to experience the new offering.
A collective audience of more than 70,000 people were able to view content created on the night, immediately lifting brand awareness in Shoe Connection's target market of the the Wellington region.
The All Blacks are global legends – and who doesn’t want to unlock their nutritional secrets?
That’s what we helped do in 2022 when Healthspan Elite (the Official Sports Nutrition Partner to the All Blacks) released a 32-strong range of vitamins, minerals and sports nutritional products they formulated in collaboration with Kat Darry, the All Blacks’ Performance Nutritionist.
We designed the custom-made Healthspan Elite x All Blacks kit to introduce the new range, which featured protein powder and other supplements and an exclusive smoothie recipe Kat Darry uses to fuel the team during training. We love inspiring everyday Kiwis to make the most of their training.
Leave us a message and we’ll get in touch as soon as we can!
